Decamping

Decamping

Mixed media on watercolor paper.

I think about this stuff.

This drawing is my idea of what dying is like. We are living and experiencing a pseudo preamble to our inevitable permanent ending.   What we refer to as "Living" is a prologue that is unique in perception,  individualized to the person in question and tailored with only attaining the pursuit of happiness, yet we crave, yearn and froth at the mouth at the thought of what we idealistically, and with superficiality in cahoots with naivety--  both standing close by, regard as "living" (happiness). Living, or rather the thought of what it is to truly live, is merely a factitious rendering comprised of propaganda, lackluster societal thinking, and pretentious grandiose ideas that we made up. We are under the impression that we know everything.

we all just decamp to some other plane of existence that cant be fathomed or thought of.

If i could talk to my dad, i would give him a low-five, a grin and ask him, "whats next?"

I was listening to the Germs as I was drawing this.  And i was toying around with the fallacy of beauty and perception.  What is beautiful to some is not beautiful to all.

I think bugs are pretty.
